New Jersey Multiple Listing Service, Inc. (NJMLS) has announced a preliminary agreement to participate in the Global Data Exchange (GDX®), an initiative for reciprocal listing-data sharing among participating multiple listing services around the world.
In its public announcement, NJMLS described a model in which qualified MLS organizations could securely exchange selected listing data. Each market would retain authority over its own data, local policies and branding attribution.
NJMLS said it is assessing how international listing data might be incorporated into its system in the future. Its announcement does not confirm a live international feed or completed technical integration.
The organization plans to provide its members with further information as the initiative develops. The preliminary agreement is a step toward exploring cross-border data connections, with implementation details still to follow.
